Pay Information

$400,000 to $440,000 per year

About The Position

About the Role :

Join this outstanding academic Cardiology department. They are seeking a full-time General Cardiologist to join our academic clinical faculty. This position arises as our current general cardiologist transitions to an interventional fellowship in June 2025.

Practice Setting :

  • Clinical Service
  • Outpatient cardiology clinic : up to 5 half‑day sessions per week
  • Inpatient consult service : one-week blocks (≈10 weeks / year), covering a single hospital; weekend coverage only during inpatient rotations
  • Call schedule : fellows handle overnight pages; attendings rarely take overnight calls

Academic Service :

  • Participate in fellow teaching : Wednesday morning fellow conference, Tuesday cath conference, monthly Cardio Grand Rounds
  • Provide 2-3 half‑days per week for reading / study and procedural training (TEE scheduling)
  • Mentor 9 cardiology fellows (3 per class)
