Job description

Growing Private Equity firm seeks a talented Portfolio Integration Specialist to manage lifecycle growth and development of acquired assets.

Responsibilities Include :

M&A Deal Management

  • Build and maintain a live M&A tracker (Asana, Monday.com, Airtable, etc.) to manage deadlines and deliverables.
  • Coordinate due diligence activities and document flow between internal and external teams.
  • Track deal milestones — LOIs, audits, closings, escrow, and integration timelines.
  • Support post-closing integration by developing operational handoff plans and progress reports.

Operational Oversight & Performance

  • Implement standardized performance reporting across all subsidiaries (weekly / monthly KPIs).
  • Work with each GM to define measurable operational goals (revenue, backlog, efficiency, net income).
  • Create dashboards to monitor production throughput, job profitability, and financial health.
  • Establish checks and balances across finance, operations, and HR for transparency and accountability.
  • Conduct regular reviews and performance audits to flag issues early and propose corrective actions.
  • Support and guide operation managers in running their business units directly from the P&L.
  • Succession & Backup Planning

  • Develop and maintain backup plans for key roles across operating companies to mitigate risk.
  • Identify critical employees and design step-in or cross-training plans to ensure business continuity.
  • Partner with HR to document key processes and institutional knowledge transfer.
  • Advise leadership on talent pipeline gaps and succession readiness.
  • Governance & Compliance

  • Apply NorthStrive's GAGE governance framework to all operating companies.
  • Draft SOPs and internal policy documentation for consistent management practices.
  • Ensure operatimg reporting and approvals align with board oversight and audit requirements.
  • Reporting & Communication

  • Provide concise weekly summaries on M&A status, operational KPIs, and risk flags.
  • Collaborate directly with the Chairman, CFO, and GMs on execution priorities.
  • Prepare materials and presentations for board meetings and strategic reviews.
  • Requirements :

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Working knowledge of portfolio integration steps
  • Private Equity experience
