ARRT Mammography Technologist

Full-Time / Competitive Pay / Comprehensive Benefits

MLR is seeking a certified Mammography Technologist for a leading healthcare facility near Red Mountain, California!

Key Responsibilities :

  • Perform Mammograms : Operate mammography equipment to capture clear breast images while ensuring proper patient positioning.
  • Patient Care & Education : Prepare and guide patients through the mammogram process, ensuring comfort and understanding.
  • Image Review : Check image quality before submitting to radiologists for evaluation.
  • Record Keeping : Maintain accurate patient records and update EMR systems.
  • Equipment Maintenance : Ensure mammography equipment functions properly, reporting issues as needed.

Qualifications :

  • Successful completion of an AMA accredited program leading to registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • State of California and ARRT registration and certification.
  • BLS certification required and maintained thereafter.
  • Acute care hospital radiologic technologist experience required.
