About The Position

A respected 25-bed critical access hospital in coastal Maine is seeking a Board-Certified OB / GYN for ongoing locum coverage . This position blends clinic time with 2nd call coverage and requires a provider with a strong background in GYN procedures . 🏥 Position Highlights :

Location : Coastal Maine (Damariscotta region)

Schedule : Part-time (approx. 0.5 to 0.75 FTE)

Shifts : Includes both in-clinic work and 2nd call responsibilities

Call : CNMs handle first call; OB / GYN covers complications

Annual Deliveries : ~120 births

Clinic Volume : 8–10 patient visits / day

Team : OB / GYNs, FM / OBs, CNMs

Procedures (In-Clinic) : IUD / Nexplanon, colposcopy, biopsies

Procedures (OR) : LEEP (may shift in-office)

EMR : EPIC

Job Requirements

Board Certification in OB / GYN – Required

Active Maine License or IMLC – Preferred

Strong GYN Procedural Experience : Must include IUDs, ablations, menopausal care, urinary incontinence

Willingness to travel to site – Travel fully covered

Clean malpractice and license history – Preferred

Holiday Pay : 1.5x base hourly

Orientation Pay : 50% of hourly for >
