• Specialty : GENERAL SURGERY
• Schedule : 1.0 FTE - 36 Patient Care hours, with 4 hours of Admin time per week; Clinic Hours are 8 : 00 am to 5 : 00 pm, Monday-Friday, one-half day of Clinic per week (3-hour block) seeing pre-op / post-op patients. Assisting with rounding on inpatients and in the OR. Responsible for assisting Acute Care Surgeon, new consults / rounding / assisting the Surgeon as needed. Occasional travel to cover cases / rounds at Mercy Hospital, Oshkosh.
• Call Schedule : Weekends 1 : 6 - Call Friday 3 : 00pm, through Monday 7 : 00am. Weekend Call involves rounding both days, and covering emergent OR cases. Weekdays 1 : 6 - Call 5 : 00pm to 7 : 00am (responsiblefor relieving in OR as needed).
• Practice Detail : This position is part of a Regional Group between St Elizabeth Hospital, Appleton and Mercy Hospital, Oshkosh; home base is Appleton.

Provides direct diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive health care services under the supervision of a physician.Obtain patient history and perform assessment via observation, interview and examination.

Orders, performs and interprets diagnostic studies. Perform preventative health assessments, screening, immunizations and patient care.
