Accounts Payable Specialist

As a member of the Health Support Center (HSC) team, you'll support those in our facilities who are interfacing and providing care to our patients and community members positively impacting our mission of making communities healthier.

The Accounting and Finance team ensures accuracy and compliance in financial reporting, supports audits, and collaborates across departments to strengthen financial performance. We take pride in fostering collaboration, problem-solving, and attention to detail while supporting both operational and strategic goals.

An Accounts Payable Specialist who excels in this role :

• Reviews invoices for appropriate documentation, coding, and approvals prior to payment.
• Serves as an interdepartmental liaison and works with internal / external auditors to prepare for and facilitate audits.
• Ensures compliance with current accounting standards, hospital policies, and applicable laws / regulations.
• Develops analytical and departmental reports as required or requested.
• Assists with month-end close functions.
