Senior Risk Engineering Consultant
Zurich's Risk Engineering Energy Casualty Team seeks a Senior Risk Engineering Consultant with casualty OGP experience in West Texas / Forth Worth / Dallas Area. Primary duties include conducting risk assessments and providing safety consultation services to customers. This work-from-home role services customers within the U.S., and the expected travel time is up to 50%. Sr Risk Engineering Consultant Job Duties Include :
- Manage account risk portfolio and provide account-level engineering to meet underwriting requirements.
- Develop and implement customer service strategies that reduce loss, improve customer safety operations, and generate service fees.
- Support underwriting teams by providing risk assessments on existing and prospective accounts. Attend customer and broker meetings to present service capabilities.
- Monitor engineering services to ensure delivery is proper, timely, and cost-effective.
- Perform field engineering assessments to evaluate casualty, pollution exposures, and controls at insured locations in the USA.
- Provide consultative services to customers, including identifying exposures with significant loss potential, root cause investigations of major losses, and evaluating safety management programs.
- Assist in marketing risk engineering services with underwriting professionals and agents across company business segments.
Basic Qualifications :
Bachelors Degree and 6 or more years of experience in the Risk Engineering area ORHigh School Diploma or Equivalent and 8 or more years of experience in the Risk Engineering area ORZurich Certified Apprentice, including an Associates degree and 6 or more years of experience in the Risk Engineering area ANDExperience working in a team environmentPreferred Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in engineering and / or OGP EHSMinimum of 6 years' experience in Downstream, Mid-stream and / or upstream operations.Loss Control / Risk Engineering experience within the insurance industryStrong consultation skills to identify and implement risk reduction strategies with customersSells mindset with a proven ability to obtain fee for service is a plusEffective written and communicationProven collaborative skillsProficient computer and software skillsAbility to work unsupervisedExperience working in a team environmentAble to conduct presentations with large and small groups at all business levels.Familiar with OSHA, DOT and OGP safety & Fleet management programsAt Zurich, compensation for roles is influenced by a variety of factors, including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. In compliance with local laws, Zurich commits to providing a fair and reasonable compensation range for each role. The proposed salary range for this position is $98,300.00 - $161,000.00, with short-term incentive bonus eligibility set at 15%.
