Medical Paralegal

Our client is a Health Care provider located in Engelwood, NJ seeking a Medical Biller.

Key Responsibilities :

• Analyze and organize medical records, billing statements, and payer correspondence related to OON claims
• Prepare IDR submissions and manage timelines under the No Surprises Act
• Conduct legal and regulatory research on federal and state laws impacting NSA and OON claims
• Coordinate with providers, insurers, and legal teams to resolve reimbursement disputes
• Maintain accurate documentation and case tracking systems

Qualifications :

Paralegal certification or relevant experience in healthcare law

2+ years of experience in medical claims, insurance, or healthcare legal compliance

Familiarity with NSA regulations, IDR procedures, and medical billing terminology

Strong organizational, communication, and legal writing skills

The annual base salary range is $80k to $110k. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and / or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
