About the Assignment
HumanEdge Health is seeking an experienced Travel Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join a busy acute care facility in Berlin, New Hampshire . This role offers the opportunity to provide critical respiratory care to a diverse patient population, including ED, inpatient, and transport to tertiary care centers.
The ideal candidate will be highly proficient in ventilator management, skilled with HHN, BiPAP, and CPAP therapies , and comfortable working independently while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team. Prior travel experience is strongly encouraged.
Assignment Details
Schedule : 4x12-hour night shifts, 6 : 00 PM – 6 : 00 AM, Wednesday through Saturday
Patient Ratio : Typically 1 : 5 or 1 : 6
Care Setting : ED, inpatient, and transport
Shift Notes : High-acuity environment with diverse respiratory needs
Equipment Experience : Ventilators, BiPAP, CPAP
Responsibilities
Assess, monitor, and treat patients with cardiopulmonary disorders
Initiate and manage mechanical ventilation, BiPAP, CPAP, and other respiratory therapies
Respond to emergent respiratory situations in the ED and inpatient units
Transport patients safely to tertiary care centers as needed
Maintain accurate documentation in EMR and ensure compliance with hospital protocols
Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
Qualifications
Licensure / Certification :
Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license
NBRC Certification – required
BLS (AHA) – required
Experience :
Minimum 3 years acute care respiratory experience
Ventilator management and high-acuity patient care proficiency
Prior travel experience preferred
