About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Profession : RN

Specialty : Med-surg Adult

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Night Shift

Hours per Shift : 12 hours (7 PM to 7 : 30 AM)

Experience : Minimum two (2) years recent Acute / Med Surg experience preferred

License : Current RN license required

Certifications : BLS certificate required

Must-Have : Operating knowledge of Electronic Medical Records preferred

Description :

Functions include performing diagnostic tests and analyzing results.

Administering medications and operating medical equipment.

Recording patients' symptoms and medical histories.

Assisting with patient rehabilitation and follow-up.

Provides direct and indirect patient care in the medical-surgical setting.

Communicates with physicians, Nurse Manager, and co-workers about changes in patient’s status.

Able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition, including response to treatment.

Able to perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision.

Must be willing to cross-train in other nursing departments as the need arises.

Must pass nursing medication test.

Must be able to effectively communicate in English, both verbal and written.

Must have good interpersonal skills and interface professionally, tactfully, and respectfully with patients, staff, and the general public.

Basic computer skills required.
