About the Role

We are seeking a Fulfillment Coordinator to oversee kitting, distribution, and fulfillment services. This role is critical in ensuring projects are delivered on time, accurately, and efficiently. As a rapidly growing segment of our business, fulfillment offers strong opportunities for career growth and advancement for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Staffing

  • Supervise and coordinate the work of fulfillment and packout associates.
  • Create staffing schedules and assign workloads based on production demands and time study data.
  • Partner with staffing agencies to source temporary labor.
  • Accurately track and manage temp labor hours and submit time sheets to payroll.

Operational Efficiency & Line Management

  • Coordinate fulfillment and kitting projects, ensuring schedules, staffing, and resources align with client requirements and production timelines.
  • Apply Lean Manufacturing principles to optimize workflows, reduce waste, and increase efficiency.
  • Conduct time and motion studies to set productivity benchmarks.
  • Analyze fulfillment tasks to optimize workflows, staffing levels, and shift requirements.
  • Monitor and report line and production rates to ensure schedules are met.
  • Design and implement best-practice packout line layouts focused on efficiency and ergonomics.
  • Drive continuous improvements through process adjustments and layout reconfiguration.
  • Collaborate with the Kitting Lead on line setups, staffing, and layout planning to meet project requirements.
  • Work closely with the Project Manager to align fulfillment activities with project timelines, client specifications, and overall job requirements.
  • Quality Assurance & Compliance

  • Oversee inspection of outgoing kits and shipments for accuracy, packaging integrity, and compliance with spec.
  • Enforce safety standards, cleanliness, and regulatory compliance within the work area.
  • Promote and maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Documentation, Reporting & Inventory

  • Track and report staffing levels, labor hours, throughput, error rates, and time study metrics.
  • Maintain fulfillment records in ERP / job tracking systems for audit, costing, and billing purposes.
  • Oversee inventory control, including receiving, stocking, cycle counts, and reconciliation.
  • Monitor inventory of materials and packaging components; coordinate replenishment with warehouse or purchasing.
  • Collaborate with production, customer service, and logistics teams to resolve fulfillment issues and schedule shifts.
  • Develop and maintain SOPs for fulfillment and kitting workflows.
  • Qualifications

  • Experience coordinating production, fulfillment, kitting, or projects
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and production efficiency
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and stand / walk for extended periods
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office / 365 and inventory management systems
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Required Skills

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
