Mechanic

Join our team as a mechanic where you will be responsible for the installation and repair of industrial truck bodies, hoists, hydraulics, platforms, liftgates, tarps, snowplows, sanders, and truck accessories. You will perform some fabrication, welding, and 12 Volt wiring, along with oxy-acetylene or plasma torching.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation and repair of industrial truck bodies, hoists, hydraulics, platforms, liftgates, tarps, snowplows, sanders, and truck accessories.
• Conduct fabrication, welding, and 12 Volt wiring.
• Utilize oxy-acetylene or plasma torching techniques.
• Apply knowledge of electrical hook-ups and hydraulics.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

Work Environment

Work in a large job shop with multiple buildings and garages, similar to a truck dealership. Collaborate with a team in a fast-paced environment, interacting with customers and testing equipment outside when necessary. Uniforms are provided, and the shop handles big municipal trucks, dump trucks, and large semi-trucks, focusing on time-sensitive tasks.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00 / hr.
