Ownership-Minded Supervising Pharmacist!

Location :  Best Five Star Pharmacy – Queens, NY

Job Type :  Full-Time or Part-Time

Pay :  $75.00 – $80.00+ per hour (commensurate with experience)

Expected Hours :  32 – 40 per week

    • About the Role : Supervising Pharmacist

    We’re looking for a  Supervising Pharmacist  who is more than just clinically sound—you’re a  leader, operator, mentor, and problem solver .

    We are looking for a pharmacist with an OWNER'S MIDSET. You take ownership of the  day-to-day pharmacy operations , ensure  regulatory compliance , inspire your team, and deliver an excellent patient experience. This is a role for a pharmacist who wants to  lead from the front  while driving  clinical excellence  and  business growth .

    • Key Responsibilities

  • Pharmacy Leadership & Supervision :  Oversee daily pharmacy operations and supervise pharmacy staff and technicians
  • MicroMerchant (PrimeRx) Oversight :  Ensure optimal use of our pharmacy management system
  • Compliance & Quality Assurance :  Ensure full adherence to state and federal pharmacy laws, HIPAA, and quality standards
  • Patient Experience :  Foster a patient-first culture by delivering empathetic, thorough, and timely care
  • Inventory & Financial Stewardship :  Monitor inventory, manage COGS, and ensure the financial health of the pharmacy
  • Training & Mentorship :  Mentor technicians and interns; facilitate continuous education
  • Bilingual Communication :  Fluency in Spanish preferred to better serve our diverse community

    • Qualifications

  • PharmD or Bachelor of Pharmacy degree
  • Active New York State Pharmacist License (in good standing)
  • At least  2 years of experience in a retail pharmacy ; supervisory or lead pharmacist experience strongly preferred
  • Experience with  MicroMerchant / PrimeRx  (strongly preferred)
  • Fluent in English; Spanish fluency is a plus
  • Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
  • Passionate about team development and process improvement
