Tenneco is one of the world's largest pure-play powertrain companies servicing OE markets worldwide with engineered solutions addressing fuel economy, power output, and criteria pollution requirements for gasoline, diesel and electrified powertrains.
We are looking for a Plant Quality Manager at our Angola Indiana facility. The Quality Manager will report directly to the Director of Quality and will directly supervise a team of Quality Engineers and Quality Technicians employee. The Quality Manager ensures a safe work environment, drives quality improvements, develops a qualified workforce, reduces operating costs, inventories, and lead times through continuous improvements.

RESPONSIBILITIES :
Each employee has the authority to initiate action to prevent a violation of the Tenneco Integrity Policy. All employees will abide by the plant's safety policy, comply with the legal and other requirements and operational controls established, work toward achieving established objectives and targets, and conform to procedures consistent with the ISO 14001 standard. An employee should report, and if necessary, stop, any activity that does not conform to the policy or may injure himself / herself.
Capable of providing support as requested by Plant Manager. Maintain a positive relationship with our Customers.
EDUCATION :
Bachelor's degree in related field or 5 - 10 years' experience in quality related field with experience in automotive manufacturing and IATF 16949 standards.
SKILLS / EXPERIENCE :
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Exceptional working knowledge of Quality Assurance Systems development and management is mandatory.
