As a Merchandiser with American Greetings, you are a vital part of our company’s purpose : helping people celebrate holidays, each other, and all of life’s special moments, by making the world a more thoughtful and caring place every single day. We are looking for merchandisers to work independently across various retail locations, showcasing their organization and time management skills to display and maintain inventory levels of our celebrations product, including greeting cards, gift wrap accessories, party goods, plush and more.

Pay :

• The starting pay is $12.20 per hour with two increases during the first year of employment (the listed rates are subject to change based on work location).
• After 6 months of employment the pay rate will increase to $12.90.
• After 1 year of continued employment the pay rate will increase to $13.50.

Route and Schedule :

This route will service the following retail locations at : 636 Spartanburg Hwy, Hendersonville, NC, 28792; 290 Rosman Highway, Brevard, NC; 100 College Station Dr, Brevard, NC; 140 Old Rosman Hwy, Brevard, NC; 1985 Greenville Hwy, Brevard, NC; 6751 Greenville Hwy, Brevard, NC; 25 Westside Village Rd, Hendersonville, NC; 651 Brookside Camp Rd, Hendersonville, NC; 4966 Boylston Highway, Mills River, NC; 301 New Hendersonville Hwy, Pisgah Forest, NC; 3578 Hendersonville Hwy, Pisgah Forest, NC; 1226 Old Us 25 Hwy, Zirconia, NC and 107 Etowah Ctr Dr, Etowah, NC.

The weekly average hours are 7 hours per week. The weekly hours may increase to an average of 12 hours per week around holidays.

Qualifications :

Physical Demands :

You will be working on the sales floor as well as the back stock room. Ability to push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and fixtures of up to 40 pounds throughout the sales floor and backrooms. You will need to be able to stand, walk, stoop, and squat throughout the workday. A stepstool may be used to complete some tasks.
