Information Systems Coordinator (Real Time Crime Center- KCKPD)

All positions require that the applicant be a resident of Wyandotte county or willing to relocate within (12) months from the date of hire. As a condition of employment all employees must pass a post offer physical examination and drug screen. And submit proof of identity and employment eligibility.

This Information Systems Coordinator will be responsible for statistical reporting, intelligence gathering, and real-time operational support for the Department. They will provide analysis and intel to the Investigations Bureau and the Operations Bureau. They will be subject to on-call status on a rotational basis for real-time support and critical incident support. Duty hours and days are subject to the needs of the department with prior notification.

This Information Systems Coordinator will handle the majority of the statistical analysis and reporting, including Clery Act reports, senior staff statistics, calls-for-service data, crime-type trends, and resource mapping. Additionally, this role will fulfill internal requests such as traffic camera footage retrieval, intelligence packet preparation, and various report generation tasks. The position will be trained as a pilot in support of the Department's developing Drone as First Responder (DFR) program. Knowledge of databases, data sorting, ArcGIS, PowerBI, Microsoft office suite, and general computer functions are highly recommended and sought.

$29.62 - 39.63 per hour
