Diesel / Heavy Truck Mechanic – Charleston, WV

United Talent Staffing is currently seeking a Diesel / Heavy Truck Mechanic for Charleston Auto in Charleston, WV! This is an excellent full-time opportunity for an experienced mechanic with leadership and customer service skills.

Job Responsibilities :

Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on diesel engines and heavy trucks
Handle electrical, suspension, tire, and wet line systems
Write service orders and communicate with customers in a service writer capacity
Lead and mentor a team of mechanics / technicians
Document all work performed and ensure quality and safety standards are met
Collaborate with management on workflow, scheduling, and shop operations

Requirements :

Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic and / or Heavy Truck Mechanic

Service writer experience and team lead / supervisory skills required

Strong knowledge of electrical systems, suspensions, tires, and wet line systems

Class B CDL preferred

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay and Shift :

Schedule : Monday – Friday

Pay Range : $20.00 – $28.00 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)
