Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist with at least 1 year of acute care experience for a hospital-based role in Texas, requiring BLS and NBCOT certification.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in an acute care hospital setting on the Occupational Therapy unit
  • Day shift, Monday to Friday from 8 : 00am to 5 : 00pm
  • Includes participation in a weekend rotation
  • Uses Epic EMR, experience preferred
  • First-time travelers are accepted for this position
  • No more than 3 days of requested time off will be approved and none allowed during the first week of orientation
  • Former permanent staff must be gone at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
  • No travel pairs or groups will be considered
  • Onsite orientation modules are required and tracked via transcripts

  • Current TX Occupational Therapist license required if applicable
  • Current BLS and NBCOT certifications required
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant acute care experience required
  • Experience with Epic EMR preferred
  • Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
