About the Role
Join one of the nation's top-performing and most respected healthcare systems, leading revenue cycle operations across acute care, post-acute, and outpatient facilities . This role provides strategic direction, operational oversight, and performance management for all facets of hospital billing and collections —including denials, underpayments, correspondence, cash management, and vendor relationships.
You'll shape long-term financial strategy while guiding a team of 30+ professionals (including 2 direct manager reports) to deliver measurable improvements in accuracy, compliance, and net revenue.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a strong financial services culture across hospital revenue cycle operations.
- Oversee billing performance for up to 17 hospitals, 160+ outpatient facilities, and 300+ physicians
- Manage $2.6B in AR, $4.3B in annual cash collections, and 2B in annual claims.
- Implement process improvements to increase efficiency, compliance, and reimbursement accuracy.
- Partner with senior leadership and cross-functional teams (Revenue Integrity, CDI, Case Management) to align operations with strategic goals.
- Build and mentor a high-performing team; drive engagement and change management initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to payer regulations, CMS rules, and UB-04 / Form 1500 billing requirements.
- Monitor key metrics and financial trends to identify opportunities for growth and operational excellence.

Qualifications
