Med / Surg Telemetry RN Job Details

Location : Plymouth, MA 02360 (Massachusetts nursing jobs)

Healthcare Setting : Float Pool – Medical / Surgical Telemetry Unit

Assignment Type : Travel RN Contract

Start Date : December 1, 2025

End Date : February 28, 2026

Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Hours per Week : 36 (guaranteed 72 hours biweekly)

Shift : 12-hour nights (weekends and holidays required)

Orientation : Biweekly

Estimated Weekly Salary : $2,470 - $2,540 per week

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent Med / Surg Telemetry RN experience

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts

Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications

Ability to pass ECG / Telemetry and Medication competency exams (one attempt, 85% passing score)

Documented professional development activities

Knowledge of Critical Paths in clinical care

Charge Nurse experience preferred

Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (no local travelers)

Must not have worked for Beth Israel Lahey Health in any capacity within the last 6 months

Med / Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the Med / Surg Telemetry Float Pool

Float to similar units and overflow areas as needed

Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms, responding promptly to changes

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans

Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes

Participate in ongoing professional development and maintain required clinical competencies
