Team Fishel, the Best Choice Employer in the utility construction business, is hiring in the Indianapolis, IN area, and we are looking to hire outstanding Aerial/Overhead Telecom Lineman! Aerial Telecom Linemanwill handle new business projects within our Telecom Constructiondivision. It's also a great opportunity to be part of the team establishing Team Fishel as the leader in the utility construction industry in the state of Indiana as we continue to grow.Responsibilities
Planning and Initiating Projects
Establishing OSHA and Customer Safety Requirements
Setting Poles
Maintaining and Repairing Overhead Fiber Optic Facilities
Installing New Strand and Lashing Fiber
Installing and Maintaining Down Guys, Overhead Guys, etc.
Building Risers, Installing Snow Shoes/Slack Coils
Tree Trimming
Lineman Requirements & Qualifications
Must have 1+ years†experience in the industry
Experience with commercial deliveries and transport in the Akron/Cleveland area
Basic tools required could be climbing tools (Belt and Gaffs), basic hand tools, etc.
Valid CDL-A is strongly desired
Team Fishel will provide on-the-job training in all areas of safety, including flagging certification, tool operation and maintenance.
