We are looking for an experience Practice Manager to join our team.

The Practice Manager is the financial and operational leader of the Hospital. He / She works with the hospital leadership as well as Community Veterinary Partners to ensure efficient day-to-day operations and successful financial performance. The Practice Manager leads by example to motivate and inspire the team to provide excellent experience for our clients and their pets.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Human Resources

• Administrate all human resource functions including staff recruitment, hiring, training, scheduling, performance evaluations, counseling, and terminations.
• Manage annual performance evaluations. Responsible for performance evaluations for supervised staff with the assistance of the department lead.
• Implement and maintain Employee Safety and Disaster Plan procedures and manuals.
• Assure compliance with OSHA and Workers' Compensation programs.
• Distribute all necessary communication materials with staff, including policy changes, relevant information discussed at meetings, and client feedback.
• Mediate personnel grievance, documenting all reprimands and counseling meetings.

In addition, the Practice Manager may work scheduled shifts during which he or she will be responsible for providing client service and / or direct patient care.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Practice Manager is responsible for managing all hospital team members.

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

4+ years Hospital management experience. College preferred.

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Certification in Veterinary Practice Management preferred.
