Job Summary
Field Leader will manage multiple projects at a given time. Field Leaders are expected to positively represent the company at all times. They are responsible for ensuring the full scope of work from project management to safety to painting is completed within the customer’s timeframe and budget. In addition, Field Leaders provide overall supervision and coaching to Foreman and painters in order to effectively carry out customer service and paint-related duties in a professional manner. (Field Leaders will train, mentor and ensure employees know how to use our current technologies.)

Attend handoff meetings with customers, OPMs, sales and estimators before project to complete job on or under agreed upon budgetActively inspect and manage all work occurring on their projects. Communicate any issues to the PM for potential change ordersComplete site safety inspection checklists before the start of each jobDevelop and maintain positive relationships with site Supers & other trades onsiteMake sure equipment and materials are inspected and on-site ahead of time and returned after useReport any lost or stolen equipment to OPMCalculate production rates and estimated materials needed (i.e. lifts, gallons of paint)Monitor and track project budget numbers across each project each weekPerform cost to complete at 25%, 50% & 75% of the projectFollow protocol to bill customers for extra work completed outside of original project scopeProactively communicate with Ops Managers on project status on a daily basisElevate important issues to sales and accountingEnsure all employees are Maintaining all field rules and responsibilities and ensuring Field Representatives adhere to job site and company rules.Training and Coaching Crew :
Set expectations and hold Foreman and painters accountable for completing assigned parts of the project.Train painters on unfamiliar or advanced painting techniques and / or productsVerify crew is trained on lifts, spray machines, ladders and scaffolds before use.Ensure crew follows all incident reporting protocol.Ensure weekly Toolbox Talks are completed by all crews each week (delicate task to foremen onsite)Observe and give crew regular feedback and recognition on their job performance.Partner with HR to ensure crew attendance, appearance, and behavior is always professionalSafety :
Ensure that safety equipment and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) are easily accessible, maintained and inspected regularly for damage.Demonstrate procedures and explain safety policies in an easy-to-understand manner.Regularly train all employees on safety procedures.Provide the resources for employees to perform their tasks safelyMISC :

5 or more years of experience in a painter / lead painter role2 or more years of experience as a foremanA strong focus on safety, quality, and customer serviceComfortability with managing multiple priorities and adapting when necessaryAbility to read blueprints and perform basic calculationsAdvanced knowledge of painting techniquesOSHA30 RequiredValid driver’s licenseHS Diploma or GEDAbility to read, write, and speak EnglishAuthorized to work in the U.S.Punctual and consistent work attendancePositive attitude and willingness to learnAbility to communicate professionally; follow instructions and provide instructionAbility to lift and maneuver heavy equipment; stand, kneel, and bend for extended periods of timeCompensation details : 28-35
