Opportunity : Rad Tech - Interventional Radiology Job Details : - Work Monday through Friday from 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM - 8-hour shifts with full-time schedule - Rotating on-call responsibilities as needed - Weekend on-call coverage when required - Operate fluoroscopy, computed tomography, laser, and ultrasonography equipment during vascular and neuroradiology procedures - Perform both circulating and scrubbing roles during interventional procedures - Assist with patient care, teaching, and assessment within scope of practice - Manage inventory and coordinate scheduling for interventional labs - Troubleshoot basic equipment maintenance and participate in quality assurance - Handle image processing and archiving system issues - Maintain PACS system as superuser and follow downtime procedures - Graduate of accredited radiology technology school required - 1 year of special procedures training / experience preferred - Required certifications : Radiography (R) by ARRT, Vascular Interventional Radiography (VI) by ARRT - Texas MRT state licensure required - BLS certification required (AHA only) - ACLS certification preferred (AHA only) - Must demonstrate flexibility to work other shifts and campuses as needed - Basic computer experience required Facility : This healthcare organization is a comprehensive medical center that provides advanced interventional radiology services and specialized imaging procedures.
