We are looking for a skilled Collections Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Brunswick, Ohio. This role involves ensuring efficient collections processes, leveraging technology, and maintaining excellent communication with clients. The position offers a hybrid work arrangement, starting with in-office training before transitioning to remote work.
Responsibilities :
- Manage and execute collection activities to ensure timely payments from commercial and consumer accounts.
- Utilize multiple systems to track and update account statuses efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with clients to resolve payment-related inquiries and disputes.
- Leverage advanced technology skills to enhance collection processes and ensure accuracy.
- Provide detailed reporting and documentation of collection activities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth operations and adherence to policies.
- Follow up on overdue accounts and implement appropriate measures to recover payments.
- Maintain precision and clear oral and written communication in all interactions.
- Address billing issues and assist in resolving discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with company standards and best practices in collections.
- Previous experience in commercial and consumer collections.
- Proficiency in NetSuite or similar software.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work with multiple systems and adapt to new technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to handle billing and payment discrepancies.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Comfortable working in a hybrid environment with remote capabilities.
