Job description

What We Can Achieve Together :

The System Analyst II is responsible for day to day operations of the Enterprise Production Operations team supporting several different teams and core systems. You will also be responsible for assisting with analyzing and supporting IT products or services to optimize organizations efficiency. This includes enhancing the reliability, availability, and performance of IT products or services throughout the organization. They may assist in formulating and defining support process and procedure combined with basic understanding of a business systems and industry requirements. The System Analyst II may be responsible for testing to solve a particular need or product shortcoming and contribute to strategic and operational projects. They may provide Tier II support and translate basic business requirements into functional requirements and design, implement and maintain solutions to meet those requirements.

Travelling and working flexible hours is required.

  • The ideal candidate should have experience with Cloud Computing, scripting for process automation, and data transmission protocols. Certification in AWS solution architecture, Terraform experience and working knowledge of Agile is a plus. Please be effective in working in a team environment. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the ongoing mission of conservation by being a part of our team in the Worldwide IT Business Unit!

What You'll Bring :

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant technical discipline and 3 years' experience or equivalent combination.
  • Experience with the use of Microsoft Office programs
  • Working knowledge of systems technologies (AWS, Microsoft, Linux, Windows OS)
  • Experience developing and maintaining technical documentation
  • Experience with Cloud Computing, process automation and job scheduling
  • Experience with data transmission protocols (encryption, decryption, FTP / SFTP / API)
  • Experience writing and modifying SQL, Shell scripts, Lambda functions and APIs in Python or equivalent language.
  • Desired Qualifications

  • Previous Experience working for TNC is highly preferred.
  • End user support experience (preferred).
  • Multi-lingual skills and multi-cultural or cross-cultural experience appreciated.
  • Strong time management skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong business and system analysis skills
  • Basic vendor management skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience with working in Agile and using Atlassian products - ability to write stories, define exit criteria, manage workload
  • Experience with Terraform and CICD principles
  • Salary Information :

    The starting pay range for a candidate selected for this position is generally within the range of $83,000 - $95,000. This range only applies to candidates whose country of employment is the USA. Where a successful candidate's actual pay will fall within this range will be based on a variety of factors, including, for example, the candidate's location, qualifications, specific skills, and experience. Please note countries outside the USA would have a different pay range in the local currency based on the local labor market, and not tied to USA pay or ranges. Your geographic location will be confirmed during the recruitment.
