Description :

As a Behavioral Health Registered Nurse, you will provide planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process of Assessment, Planning, Intervention, and Evaluation.

You will develop nursing care plans in coordination with patients, families, and interdisciplinary staff as necessary.

You will communicate changes in patients' clinical conditions with physicians, nursing supervisors / managers, and co-workers as appropriate.

Additionally, you will participate in the discharge planning process.

Patients will encompass a variety of diagnoses including schizophrenia, depression, bipolar disorder, substance use disorder, and anxiety.

You will work with both adult and pediatric patient populations.

You are required to have graduated from an accredited program in nursing, which may include a Bachelors of Science in Nursing, Associate Degree in Nursing, or a Nursing Diploma program.

Your certification in BCLS is mandatory, while ACLS is preferred.

You will be expected to work weekends every other weekend.

Patient ratios will vary, typically 1 nurse to 8 patients.

You may be required to float between different patient units.

The unit comprises 104 beds across various settings.
