Job descriptionLead the preparation and filing of quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP and statutory requirements. Ensure compliance with all regulatory agencies, including state departments of insurance, NAIC, and other relevant authorities. Oversee the preparation and submission of statutory financial statements (e.g., NAIC Annual & Quarterly Statements). Manage the external audit process, including coordination with auditors and preparation of audit schedules. Collaborate with the Controller and executive leadership to provide financial insights, trend analysis, and recommendations. Monitor and interpret new accounting and regulatory pronouncements and implement necessary changes. Oversee internal control processes to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial reporting. Drive process improvements and automation efforts in the financial reporting function. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required. 8–10+ years of experience in financial reporting, including at least 3 years in a leadership role. Strong knowledge of GAAP and statutory accounting principles (SAP), particularly for insurance companies. Experience working for a title insurance company. Proficiency with financial systems. Public accounting experience (Big 4 or national firm) Strategic financial acumen with attention to detail Strong leadership and team development skills Effective communicator with the ability to present complex financial information clearly Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities High ethical standards and integrity

Our U.S. based Client, a National Leader in Title Insurance is looking for a Director of Financial Reporting.
- Salaried Exempt, Fully Remote with occasional travel.
- All candidates must reside in United States and be authorized to work.
You will lead the preparation and oversight of all internal and external financial reporting. This includes statutory filings, GAAP reporting, and regulatory compliance specific to the Title Insurance industry. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of financial principles, a sharp eye for detail, and experience in highly regulated environments, particularly insurance.
