We’re seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to design innovative, custom automation equipment in a collaborative and hands-on environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Collaborate with Project Managers and teammates to evaluate project requirements and generate design concepts
  • Develop safe, cost-effective designs for custom automation equipment
  • Produce detailed parts and assemblies for manufacturing release
  • Support the machine shop, troubleshoot builds, and collaborate during assembly
  • Specify and source purchased components (pneumatics, motors, drives, sensors, bearings, etc.)
  • Maintain accurate bill of materials and support the purchasing team
  • Partner with Assembly, Electrical, and Software teams to deliver turnkey solutions

What You Bring

  • B.S. in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent practical experience)
  • 2+ years of mechanical design experience (automation / machinery preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of machining, materials, finishes, and drafting standards
  • Proficiency with 3D CAD software (SolidWorks strongly preferred; PDM experience helpful)
  • Working knowledge of pneumatic and electrical components
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently or in a team environment
