VP of Worldwide Sales
My client is seeking a visionary leader responsible for developing and executing global sales strategies in the semiconductor and EDA software sectors, driving revenue growth, and scaling international markets. The ideal candidate will have deep experience selling complex technical solutions to global semiconductor customers and managing high‑performing, geographically dispersed sales teams.
Position Overview
The VP of Worldwide Sales will oversee all aspects of their global sales, with direct responsibility for expanding market share, optimizing global sales performance, and partnering with executive leadership for strategic growth. This executive will manage a diverse team, cultivate relationships with top‑tier clients, and ensure alignment with overarching business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Define, develop, and execute global sales strategies aligned with my clients business goals and aggressive financial targets
Lead, mentor, and scale an international sales organization across North America, Europe, and Asia‑Pacific
Identify new market opportunities and drive expansion into emerging and adjacent semiconductor segments
Cultivate relationships with strategic customers, securing design wins and multi‑million‑dollar contracts
Collaborate with internal stakeholders (marketing, product, engineering) to co‑create impactful go‑to‑market initiatives and drive cohesive customer experience
Monitor market and competitive dynamics to provide actionable intelligence to the executive team
Oversee all aspects of the sales cycle, including demand generation, forecasting, contract negotiation, and deal closure
Utilize advanced CRM and analytics platforms to optimize sales performance and derive strategic insights
Represent them at global industry conferences and events to increase brand visibility and customer engagement
Qualifications
Master’s degree in engineering (electrical, computer, or related), plus an MBA from a top institution highly preferred
15+ years in global sales leadership roles in the semiconductor, EDA, or high‑performance computing software sectors
Proven track record of delivering revenue growth through complex, multi‑million‑dollar B2B sales
Demonstrated ability to manage diverse, remote, and regional sales teams and inspire high performance
Expertise in negotiating with C‑level executives and technical decision makers at global semiconductor companies
Strong familiarity with CRM platforms (such as Salesforce, Zoho) and data‑driven sales management
Deep existing network and relationships within semiconductor and related technology markets
Experience in both direct and channel sales models, particularly in a high‑growth or scaling‑stage company
