Appointment Length

Hiring Range

$13.50 - $20.00 / Hourly

The administrative position is vital in the daily operations and functions of the Office of Student Conduct. Through effective management of tasks related to student conduct, records, parking, and other areas, this position allows the office to effectively achieve its commitment to students by providing them with tools to grow by focusing on their ownership of choices, recognition of impact, and commitment to community. This position supports the day-to-day operations of the office through the creation and assignment of student conduct cases as well as referring individuals to appropriate resources across campus.

Required Qualifications

  • High School / GED (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)

Experience

Administrative Support Specialist I : 1 year of clerical / customer service experience. Administrative Support Specialist II : 2 years of customer service experience

Senior Administrative Support Specialist : 3 years of customer service experience

Post-secondary education may substitute for years of required experience.

Skills, Proficiencies, and / or Knowledge :

Experience in Microsoft Word and various other products in the Microsoft Office suite. Experience in managing confidential and sensitive situations. Ability to prioritize and work autonomously in a high-traffic environment. Demonstrated history of initiative and ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing situations. Ability to work with various populations. Superior verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Three years of experience.
  • Experience creating and maintaining detailed and confidential records strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with Oklahoma State University computer systems.
