We're Hiring : Lighting Estimator

Location : Brooklyn, NY

Prestige Lighting, a leading commercial and architectural lighting distributor serving New York’s top builders and contractors, is looking for a detail-oriented and driven Lighting Estimator to join our growing in-house team.

About the Role :

As a Lighting Estimator, you’ll be responsible for reviewing construction drawings and specifications to produce accurate lighting takeoffs and competitive proposals. You will work closely with our sales and project management teams to quote to spec, identify value-engineered options, and help win projects across the NYC metro area.

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform precise takeoffs from architectural and electrical plans
• Create detailed lighting quotes and proposals based on specs and customer requirements
• Communicate with manufacturers and vendors for pricing and product availability
• Identify VE (Value Engineering) options and cost-saving alternatives
• Support the sales and PM teams in meeting bid deadlines
• Use estimating software and internal tools such as Oasis and Togal.AI to streamline the process
