Job Description :
Accountable for setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting manufacturing assembly line machinery / equipment at fixed workstation positions including : Operating machinery / equipment to install a piece / part / component of an in-process product, assembly, or sub-assembly as it moves along the assembly line. Moving, packing, and sorting raw materials or finished goods. Monitoring the quality of output to identify, discard, or re-manufacture faulty products. Maintaining accurate daily assembly production records as input to manufacturing performance analysis. A Production Team Member is an entry-level position. Work is routine or follows standard procedures. Work is closely supervised.
Essential Functions : Includes the following (other duties may be documented and assigned by local management and some duties may not apply dependent upon the requirements of the position at each specific (HIAMS)AM site and / or the strengths of the employee and the needs of the company) :
Physical Demands :
Standing - Up to 10-12 hours per day to assemble parts
Lifting - Parts and supplies, up to 30-35 pounds repetitive lifting
Carrying - Parts and supplies, up to 30-35 pounds repetitively
Maneuvering - Use mechanical assist, various levers
Walking - Retrieval to placement of parts, up to 10-12 hours per day
Reaching - Upward and downward reaching to retrieve parts, up to 10-12 hours per day
Handling - Various supplies / parts of different weights, up to 35 pounds repetitively
Seeing - Parts assembly and inspecting, up to 10-12 hours per day
Finger Dexterity - Small parts assembly, up to 10-12 hours per day
Repetitive Work - Assembling parts and stocking supplies, up to 10-12 hours per day
Overtime - Must be able to work daily and weekly overtime requirements, in excess of 40 hours per week.
Knowledge, skills & abilities : Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Possess ability to perform duties utilizing current company software applications. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, verbal and written communication skills required. This position performs job duties in an ethical and professional manner. Experience : Minimum of 2 years experience in a related field is preferred.
