Job Purpose
The marketing coordinator supports the sales and network development efforts through proactive, strategic marketing and communication tactics designed to generate brand awareness, product promotion and potential client engagement.
Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following :
- Manage social media platforms : work with internal sales and communications teams to create a strategy for social media campaigns designed to generate brand awareness, drive traffic to the website, and increase sales leads from the life sciences and healthcare industries using available software tools. Manage timelines and provide measurable results of campaign efforts.
- Support company goals and objectives : Work with administrative team to provide support for strategic initiatives including presentations, use case development, newsletters, news releases, and other collateral material as needed.
- Market Research : conduct basic market research to understand the competitive environment and trends. Communicate findings to executive leadership and use findings in strategy development.
- Website maintenance : Provide basic website maintenance with fresh, updated content. Provide website metrics reporting and strategies based on metrics.
- Trade Show Management : Coordinate trade show strategies such as exhibits, attendees and roles, pre and post marketing efforts, onsite meetings.
- Refine messaging : Work with internal teams to create clear, concise, understandable messaging focused on company sales and growth goals to include social media communications / ads, website content and presentation materials.
- Metrics : Collect metrics for appropriate campaigns and strategies, determine success level and adjust efforts based on the data.
- Other duties as assigned.
