Contracting Associate

Entrusted Advisors is actively seeking candidates for a unique opportunity for a junior or early-career legal professional to support one of our clients, a globally recognized leader in science and public health research. We have been engaged to provide a qualified candidate to support industry-sponsored research in a contract role, with the opportunity to grow into long-term university employment for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

As a contracting associate, you will support the negotiation, drafting, and management of agreements that enable groundbreaking academic research and industry partnerships. You'll work closely with faculty, administrators, and external partners to ensure agreements are structured clearly and aligned with university policies.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in a law practice or business setting, ideally with a focus on contracts, drafting, and negotiation
• Strong writing and communication skills
• Familiarity with or interest in public health, research, or sponsored programs
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple agreements simultaneously
• Collaborative approach and enthusiasm for supporting research that drives public impact
• J.D. and license to practice law in at least one jurisdiction; MPH preferred
