Production Cost Estimating Senior Manager
As the Production Cost Estimating Senior Manager supporting the F-35 Program in Fort Worth, TX, you'll play a critical leadership role in shaping the financial success of one of the world's most advanced aircraft. You'll lead a high-performing team responsible for the development, oversight, and execution of cost estimating and pricing strategies that directly support F-35 production proposals. This position offers the opportunity to influence key business decisions, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement across the estimating organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic planning and execution of cost estimating activities for all F-35 production proposals.
- Prioritize and manage team workload to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant proposal submissions.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to team members on data analysis, estimate development, and process improvement.
- Review and validate cost estimates to ensure compliance with internal procedures and customer requirements.
- Partner with internal stakeholders, external customers, and audit agencies to ensure transparency and alignment throughout the estimating process.
- Champion the professional development and training of all estimating personnel to foster growth and strengthen organizational capability.
- Drive process optimization and standardization across the estimating function to enhance efficiency and quality.

This position is in Fort Worth, TX. Must be a US Citizen. Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a secret level clearance after hire.
Basic Qualifications :
Experience with pricing various proposal typesLeadership experienceExperience in data analysisExperience with developing proposals in accordance with FAR & DFARS within a DOD environment as well as commercial and competitive proposal requestsDemonstrated experience leading parametric estimatesDesired Skills :
F-35 proposal experience including direct interaction with F-35 Joint Program Office government Contracts personnelDemonstrated leadership skills including excellent communication, organizational skills, and the ability to train, lead and direct team membersProven ability to synthesize complex data and effectively communicate insights, recommendations to executive leadersExperience with LM Aeronautics proposal tool APTS, or similar proposal development toolsExperience with reviewing estimates / proposals for compliance with RFP, Government regulations per FAR, and internal processesExperience supporting DCAA / DCMA auditsSecurity Clearance Statement : This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
