Position Overview
We are seeking a driven, knowledgeable, and energy-focused Sports Performance Coach to join the Transcend team. The ideal candidate is passionate about athletic development, skilled in coaching speed / strength / power, and comfortable leading groups of all ages. This coach will contribute to our youth performance programs, athlete evaluations, adult strength classes, and 1-on-1 / Small Group training. Key Responsibilities
- Lead high-energy training sessions for youth, high school, collegiate, and adult athletes.
- Design and deliver strength, speed, agility, conditioning, and power programs.
- Conduct athlete evaluations, movement assessments, and performance testing.
- Track athlete progress, data, and training plans using Transcend’s systems and templates.
- Provide clear coaching cues, positive reinforcement, and individual corrections.
Qualifications
Prefered Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Sports Performance, or related field (or equivalent experience).Strong coaching experience in strength & conditioning, speed development, or performance training.Ability to coach groups of 5–20 athletes with confidence and clarity.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.CPR / AED certified (or willing to obtain).Employment type
