Hiring Travel RN – Labor & Delivery

Position : Travel RN – Labor & Delivery (13 Weeks)

Location : Summit, NJ

Pay Package : $48 / hour on W2 + $1,246 non-taxable stipend = $2,974 gross weekly (36 hours)

Facility : Samaritan Medical Center

Facility Address : 830 Washington Street, Watertown, New York, 13601

Shift : Nights (7 : 00 pm – 7 : 00 am)

Start Date : 12 / 15 / 2025

EMR : EPIC

Radius Rule : Must live 100 miles or more from the facility

License Requirement : Active NYS RN license

Required Certifications :

  • BLS
  • NRP

    • Required Clinical Skills :

  • Ability to perform vaginal examinations
  • Ability to circulate C-sections
  • Ability to recover patients post–spinal anesthesia
  • Strong assessment skills with the ability to identify and intervene in life-threatening situations
  • Thorough knowledge of nursing principles with the ability to provide high-quality patient care
  • Ability to assess and support patients’ clinical, teaching, mental, and spiritual needs
  • Understanding and adherence to safety procedures, including proper use of lifts and safe patient handling

    • Additional Requirements :

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • Ability to function effectively in high-stress situations
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to prioritize and delegate
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
