Reporting Relationships Reports to : Chief Operating Officer, University of Colorado Hospital Responsibilities Collaborates with executive leadership to determine organizational priorities and goals. Researches and monitors industrial, professional and national developments. Integrates data from multiple sources to support decision making. Develops and implements policies and procedures that guide business processes, support the delivery of services, and ensure a culture of quality and satisfaction. Monitors and evaluates operations to ensure compliance with established professional, regulatory, and organizational standards / requirements. Leads departmental financial planning to ensure cost-efficient operations and to maximize profitability. Lead initiatives to improve operational efficiency, patient experience, and quality of care through data-driven decision making and process optimization. Develop and manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and implement cost control measures while ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards. Work closely with clinical leaders, administrative teams, and external partners to foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. Ensure hospital operations comply with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as accreditation requirements. Champion the adoption of innovative technologies and best practices to enhance operational performance and patient outcomes. Education / Experience Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Nursing, or a related field required. Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience in hospital operations or healthcare management. Demonstrated experience in matrixed reporting structures, along with exceptional collaboration abilities to build and maintain effective relationships throughout UCHealth and the University of Colorado School of Medicine. Demonstrated expertise in operational strategy, financial management, and process improvement in a large, complex healthcare setting. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to lead and motivate multidisciplinary teams. Knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance, and accreditation standards. Pay : $227,510 - $341,265 annual base salary.
