Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Deaf Education, active DHH teaching certification, and 1+ years Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time opportunity is available for a dedicated educator specializing in Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) students within a K-12 school setting. This contract position spans the entire school year and is located in Moreno Valley, CA. The role focuses on delivering prehensive educational support tailored to the unique needs of DHH learners, fostering their academic, social, and municative development.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and implement individualized instructional plans for students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing.
  • Utilize specialized teaching methods and munication strategies to enhance learning outes.
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, specialists, and families to create an inclusive educational environment.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust teaching approaches accordingly.
  • Provide advocacy and resources to support student success and accessibility.

Desired Qualifications :

  • Certification or credential in Deaf and Hard of Hearing education or a related field.
  • Experience teaching DHH students across various grade levels (K-12).
  • Strong knowledge of auditory and visual learning techniques and assistive technologies.
  • Excellent munication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within an educational team.
