Customer Service Representative
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Customer Service Representative (CSR). The candidate will serve as the connection between the organization and its customers, both internal and external. The candidate will take ownership of resolving customer issues, complaints, and inquiries, ensuring that exceptional customer care and satisfaction drive every action. Responsible for managing customer interactions through phone, chat, email, and in-person support, CSRs must maintain up-to-date knowledge of company and project-specific policies and procedures, adapt to business needs, and take on additional responsibilities as directed by management.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
- Respond to general questions while highlighting the organization as a solution for reducing traffic congestion and improving travel reliability.
- Deliver courteous, professional, and prompt support to organization customers, out-of-state patrons, and prospective users through phone, chat, email, and in-person.
- Assistance Utilize the CRM to update and maintain customer account information, such as communication methods, credit card details, vehicle data, and transponder status.
- Help with account setup and closure, transponder exchanges, toll dispute resolution, and updating customer details.
- Cultivate and sustain productive relationships with colleagues and external partners.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications / Requirements :
A high school diploma or GED is required.One or more years of experience providing customer assistance.Experience managing customer data within CRM software.Strong verbal and written communication skills complement exceptional phone etiquette and soft skills.Excellent active listening abilities, ensuring clear communication, accurate problem-solving, and a customer-focused approach.Strong data entry accuracy and technical proficiency, with expertise in Microsoft Office applications.Detail-oriented with a commitment to thoroughness, quality control, and process efficiency.Skilled in multitasking, organizing workload, and ensuring efficient time utilization for maximum productivity.Physical Demands : Predominantly office-based work, involving frequent coordination between hands and eyes for operating computers, keyboards, and other office devices. Requires visual acuity for reading, recording, and interpreting information. Regular verbal communication, including speaking, hearing, and active listening, is necessary. Occasionally it involves lifting items up to 30 pounds.Benefits :
