Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An Elementary School in the Bronx, NY is seeking three qualified Special Education Teachers for an ESY (Extended School Year) contract position. This role focuses on providing specialized instruction and support to PreK students aged 3 to 5 during the summer session, from July 8 to August 15.

Responsibilities include :

• Deliver individualized education programs (IEPs) to meet the unique needs of students with disabilities
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and monitor educational plans
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters student growth and development
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with parents and staff
• Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations

Location : Bronx, NY Elementary School setting
