Shop Technician And Driver

Join our team as a Shop Technician and Driver, where you will provide vital production support and ensure timely local deliveries to our customers in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities :

• Pick up and deliver materials to customer sites in the West Portland Metro area using a 24-foot box truck.
• Maintain a clean vehicle and organize truck materials.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and practice safe driving at all times.
• Ensure timely delivery of orders with minimal delays.
• Lift and handle boxes weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Operate various machines such as die cutters, glue-machines, band saws, table saws, chop saws, and crate building materials for specialty packaging production.
• Collaborate effectively with team members, ask questions, and be flexible to work in different areas as needed.
• Verify shipping documentation and ensure accuracy.
• Operate an electric sit-down forklift with provided training.
• Utilize basic hand tools for crating materials.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wilsonville, OR.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
