Job description

Join a dedicated team providing direct community-based mental health and applied behavior analysis services to children and adults facing significant emotional and social challenges. This role focuses on delivering evidence-based interventions in home, school, or community settings to enhance clients' emotional well-being and overall functioning while supporting them in the least restrictive environments.

Essential Functions

  • Deliver skill training aligned with target goals using evidence-based practices, with outcomes measured by qualified mental health professionals or BCBA / Autism Specialists.
  • Follow treatment plans and interventions as directed by BCBA / Autism Specialists.
  • Participate regularly in supervision meetings and ongoing training.
  • Provide intensive, interactive mental health and behavioral services using a strengths-based, skill-building approach.
  • Collaborate with families and treatment teams to develop and maintain client-centered treatment plans.
  • Support clients and families in understanding symptoms and exploring solutions.
  • Facilitate coordination of mental and physical healthcare services, ensuring effective communication among clients, providers, families, and community partners.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

  • Required : Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field; OR Associate's degree plus 2+ years of experience educating and teaching clients about self-care and daily living skills; OR equivalent combination of education and experience totaling 4+ years.
  • Preferred : Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, or Special Education with specialized training in human development and family dynamics.
  • Preferred : 3-5 years of professional experience in mental health or related services.

    • Licenses and Certifications

  • Completion of CPST Case Management online training, KHS online training, and passing background checks including KBI, child and adult abuse registries, and motor vehicle screening.
  • Completion of state-required Adult Mental Health Case Management training within 60 days of employment.
  • Completion of Intensive Individual Support training within 6 months of hire.
  • Valid driver's license, insurance, and reliable vehicle required.

  • Strong organizational skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
