Job Title : 1st Shift Shipping Clerk

Join a leading manufacturer that specializes in providing customized solutions across the marketing supply chain, including print production, displays, merchandising solutions, packaging, creative services, fulfillment, and distribution. We are seeking a diligent Shipping Clerk to manage inventory and ensure seamless operations in our distribution environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, and issue materials, equipment, and other items from stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard.
• Receive and count stock items, recording data manually or using a computer.
• Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms, warehouses, or storage yards.
• Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors.
• Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other areas.
• Label stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment.
• Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Keep records on the use and / or damage of stock or stock handling equipment.
• Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors.
• Provide assistance or direction to other stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard workers.

Work Environment

You will work in a climate-controlled distribution environment alongside four other shipping clerks. Steel toe boots and work pants are required as part of the dress code. The work schedule is from 9 AM to 6 PM, Monday to Friday.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mesquite, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
