    • COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

  • Rate : 8 hours regular daily pay + night call (0 gratis on weekdays; 2 gratis per 24-hour call on weekends)
  • Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance : Covered REQUIRED PROCEDURES
  • Upper GI Endoscopy (Mandatory)
  • Lower GI Endoscopy (Mandatory)
  • Sigmoidoscopy (Mandatory)
  • Colonoscopy (Mandatory)
  • Esophageal Dilatation (Mandatory)
  • Esophageal Manometry (Mandatory)
  • Biopsy during Endoscopy / Colonoscopy (Mandatory)
  • ERCP Not Applicable
  • Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS) Not Applicable

    • JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Licenses : Active Indiana license or IMLC
  • Board : Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency)
  • DEA : Active DEA Certification required
  • Certifications : BLS (AHA issued), ACLS (AHA issued)
  • Experience : Minimum 2 years post-residency experience preferred
  • Other Qualifications : Must enter orders in Epic; order entry and timekeeping via Vemsta platform; flu and COVID vaccination required (medical / religious exemptions accepted)

    • DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic gastroenterology procedures as listed above
  • Manage inpatient GI consults, rounding, and treatment plans
  • Provide 24-hour on-call coverage for assigned dates
  • Enter clinical orders and maintain accurate documentation in Epic EMR
  • Collaborate with hospital staff and support teams to ensure quality patient care
  • Attend mandatory in-person orientation before assignment start
