Job Responsibilities :
- Lead team to ensure reliable, secure, and efficient technology operations across the company.
- Design, implement and maintain all approved computer hardware systems
- Mentor & train team members through encouragement, praise, and empowering them to resolve issues
- Maintain hard files for all computer hardware manuals, warranties, registrations, etc.
- Specify, acquire, implement, and maintain all approved computer software systems
- Maintain adequate "onsite" and "offsite" software back-ups of all data
- Implement necessary security measures to protect all data and software
- Design, manage and maintain all the reports necessary for the smooth operation of the company
- Ensure timely resolution of technical issues for employees, retail stores, and remote users.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and improve company infrastructure including servers, networks, hardware, software, and cloud-based applications.
- Lead small to medium-scale IT projects such as system upgrades, application rollouts, and process improvements.
- Partner with leaders across departments to align technology solutions with business needs.
- Help manage vendor relationships and IT service contracts.
- Implement and maintain IT policies, standards, and procedures to ensure security, compliance, and reliability.
- Monitor system performance and proactively recommend improvements to minimize downtime and increase efficiency.
- Track and manage IT budgets related to hardware, and services.
- Respond to emergencies as needed outside of normal business hours.
- Oversees & manages :
- Barracuda firewalls, VPN, and other routers
- Microsoft Windows servers
- FTP, Web Servers, anti-virus, and other TCP / IP services
- Microsoft 365 Cloud environments
- SAN Hardware
- SDWan Equipment in multi-location environment
- VMware Hosts
- Microsoft SQL Server
- VOIP phone system (MiTel)
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).6+ years of progressive IT experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or lead role.Strong technical knowledge of networks, operating systems, servers, and cloud applicationsExperience supporting end users in both office and remote environments.Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines.Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and IT compliance requirements.Preferred Skills :
Experience in a manufacturing, retail, or distribution environment.Familiarity with ERP systems and point-of-sale technology.IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco) a plus.
