Residency in Urban Family Medicine program seeks a Program Director to lead a mission-oriented 6-6-6 residency program training future family medicine leaders to provide the highest quality, comprehensive primary care for complex, urban communities. We are looking for a candidate who will bring a strong vision for advancing family medicine, promoting social justice, and addressing health care disparities. The residency program is based at one of New Yorks largest federally-qualified health center networks. Family medicine training site located in the vibrant Chelsea neighborhood of lower Manhattan that attracts a culturally and economically diverse patient population. Affiliated with the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and the Mount Sinai Hospital, one of the nations leading academic health systems. Fully-integrative behavioral health care. Full-spectrum family medicine with reproductive health. Strong integrative medicine curriculum. Twenty years of experience with the Epic EMR. The Residency Program Director provides leadership for and manage the family medicine residency program. Provides clinical care at the family medicine teaching site. Serves as attending on inpatient hospital service. Presents lectures and evaluate program faculty. Demonstrates scholarly activity and lead committee and faculty meetings. Monitors resident supervision at all participating sites. Promotes resident and faculty well-being.
