As a Registered Nurse (RN) you will assume responsibility and accountability for :

• Facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with both the healthcare team, and the patient / family to identify and meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the patient.
• Promote the optimal health, well-being and safety of the patient through use of the nursing process and in accordance with patient care standards, guidelines and the State Nurse Practice Act.
• Demonstrate personal accountability for relationship-based care, organizational mission, and core values.

The Obstetrics / Post-Partum department at St. Anthony Summit Medical Center has eight beds, labor, delivery, post-partum, Level I nursery, and one OR, seeing about 35 deliveries a month. On a rare occasion we treat GYN patients. Our mission is to provide compassionate care to all as we would a family member. We work in a team-oriented environment in the highest altitude birth center in North America. Our co- workers are also our friends, and there is time to spend with patients providing thorough education and excellent care. We use a self-scheduling model to provide a strong work-life balance to be able to spend time doing the year-round outdoor activities that Summit County offers. To be part of our team, we look for a great work ethic, team player, and a love for OB.

$35.17 - $62.64 / hour
