The Clinical Director will be a key leadership position responsible for overseeing all clinical operations and ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care at our Texas facilities. This role involves clinical supervision, program development, quality assurance, and adherence to all regulatory and ethical standards. The Clinical Director will lead a team of dedicated clinicians and contribute to a culture of excellence, recovery, and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Oversight and Leadership

  • Manage and supervise all clinical staff, including therapists, counselors, and case managers, providing regular individual and group supervision and performance reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local regulations (e.g., Texas licensing, Joint Commission, HIPAA, etc.) and Quadrant Health Group policies.
  • Oversee the delivery of clinical services, ensuring that programs are consistent with current evidence-based practices (EBPs) for behavioral health and addiction treatment.
  • Conduct clinical case reviews and participate in treatment planning meetings to ensure appropriate diagnosis, level of care, and effective intervention strategies.
  • Serve as a clinical resource and provide direct patient care as needed, particularly in complex or crisis situations.

Program Development and Quality Improvement

  • Develop, implement, and evaluate clinical programs and curricula to meet the needs of the patient population and drive positive clinical outcomes.
  • Establish and monitor key clinical performance indicators (KPIs) and quality assurance processes.
  • Lead continuous quality improvement (CQI) initiatives based on data analysis and patient feedback.
  • Administration and Collaboration

  • Collaborate with the Facility Administrator / Executive Director on budgeting, staffing, and strategic planning for the clinical department.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and coordinate clinical services with medical, operations, and administrative departments.
  • Manage clinical documentation processes to ensure timely, accurate, and ethical record-keeping.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes staff well-being and professional development.
  • Required

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in a clinically relevant field (e.g., Social Work, Counseling, Psychology).
  • Current, unrestricted independent clinical license in the state of Texas (e.g., LPC-S, LCSW-S, LMFT-S, or Licensed Psychologist). Supervisor status is strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of post-licensure clinical experience in a behavioral health or addiction treatment setting.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of clinical supervisory or management experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Expert knowledge of evidence-based practices (e.g., CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing), co-occurring disorders, and the continuum of care.
  • Preferred

  • Experience with The Joint Commission (TJC) accreditation standards.
  • Specialization or certification in a specific area (e.g., addiction, trauma, eating disorders).
  • Familiarity with the Weatherford / Parker County community and local resources.

  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage crises and work effectively under pressure.
  • Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and Microsoft Office Suite.
